What is it?

The AINSE Postgraduate Research Award (PGRA) consists of a A$9,000 per annum stipend (increased as of 1st July 2023) given to students studying their Ph.D. at an AINSE Member University. 

The Award also provides additional funding to support students travelling to ANSTO facilities for the purposes of their research.

Am I eligible?

Eligible students will be enrolled in a Ph.D. at an AINSE Member University and receiving an RTP scholarship or equivalent.

The research project must require the use of ANSTO’s facilities and expertise.

How do I apply?

To apply for the PGRA Scholarship, contact your AINSE Member Representative and establish a connection with an appropriate ANSTO co-supervisor on the instrument you will be using for your research.

You must complete the application form using our online application portal prior to the application deadline.
